MBA Concentration in Management Analytics

Acquire skills for the new digital world of business

Increased digitization is drastically changing the way organizations operate, creating a huge need for graduates who are tech savvy and capable of making sense of the vast amount of data available.

The ability to analyze data, make sense of it, and use it to the competitive advantage of organizations is a skill that is increasingly in high demand.

The Faculty of Management is offering a new MBA Concentration in Management Analytics that offers MBA students the opportunity to develop an invaluable skill set that will give them and the organizations they work for an edge.


Combining your business skills with analytical skills will prepare you for a variety of careers across industries, including:

  • Business Analyst/Project Manager
  • Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Business Analytics Translator
  • HR Analyst/Manager
  • Digital Marketing Analyst
  • Operations Analyst


To graduate with a Concentration in Management Analytics, students need to complete four of the following concentration electives, plus any course approved by the faculty:

  1. MBA6636 Business Analytics
  2. MBA6108 Data Visualization
  3. MBA6634 Social Network Analysis
  4. MBA6686 Project Management
  5. MBA6818 HR Analytics*

**The prerequisite for MBA6818 is MBA6606 Business Data Analysis; recommended but not mandated prerequisites are MBA6108 Data Visualization and MBA6636 Business Analytics.
