Application deadlines

Please note all UNB programs will accept applications for fall entry after their deadlines while seats remain.

General

  • Feb. 15: Bachelor of Health Sciences (Saint John campus)
  • March 1: Applications for undergraduate scholarships are due
  • March 31: General application deadline
  • Jan. 31: Bachelor of Social Work (Saint John campus)

Education

  • Dec. 15: Bachelor of Education (Fredericton campus)
  • Jan. 31: Concurrent Bachelor of Education (Saint John campus)

Nursing

  • Feb. 15: Application deadline for Bachelor of Nursing, LPN-BN program and BN Pathway. Late applications will be accepted as long as seats remain available in the program.
  • Nov. 15: Application deadline for Advanced Standing Nursing Program (Moncton site). Late applications will be accepted as long as seats remain available in the program.

Recruitment events

Future students

May 15: Deadline to accept your offer of admission to UNB and to pay your admission deposit. For offers made after May 15, check your admission letter for deadlines. This is also the deadline to confirm your room in residence by paying the residence application fee.

Pay your admission deposit early by April 3, 2026 and you will be entered into a draw for a chance to win 1 of 2 $2500 tuition credits.


The Spring Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) events in Fredericton and Saint John are a great opportunity for you to meet your fellow incoming UNB students, get to know your faculty, and register for courses.


June & July: If you couldn’t make it to one of the early registration events, you will need to speak with an academic advisor in your faculty before you register for your courses.

Room assignments are made available on July 15.
