Choose the MBA pathway that fits your goals
The University of New Brunswick Saint John’s Accelerated Master of Business Administration (MBA) program pairs a world-class education with a personal, welcoming experience.
Students may choose between two distinct pathways:
- Accelerated MBA (aMBA): The 12-month aMBA is structured into five, 9-week modules, including a business consulting project practicum, in Module 4 or 5. It is designed to prepare students for the workforce quickly, with streams that offer industry-recognized credentials or the option to build your own.
- Immersive MBA (iMBA): In addition to completing the aMBA’s five modules, students selecting the iMBA, complete an additional four-month immersive experience designed to strengthen applied learning and market readiness. Students choose from one of three options, including a paid-internship, a faculty-supervised research project, or the development of a new entrepreneurial business venture.
Both pathways provide a rigorous, applied and AACSB-accredited graduate business education. Through advanced coursework, case analysis, simulations, applied business consulting practicums, and professional development, students gain the knowledge and competencies required to address complex organizational challenges and exercise effective leadership.
Students benefit from small class sizes, a diverse international cohort, accessible faculty, dedicated program staff and strong connections with the business community. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, critical thinking, persuasive communication, ethical leadership and the integration of knowledge across business disciplines.
At the end of Module 1, students select from one of three specialized streams, each leading to a recognized industry credential or build their own program based on the course electives offered.

Scholarships and awards
An MBA is an investment in your future. We offer 10 merit awards of up to $10,000 to outstanding applicants.
To be considered, simply submit your completed MBA application by April 30 of the program year you are applying for.
Recipients are assessed based on their cumulative grade point average (CGPA) and Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores, where applicable.
Pre-MBA program
We offer a full-time, intensive, non-credit Pre-MBA program designed for students whose first language is not English.
The program strengthens academic and business English skills and prepares students for graduate study.
Students must still meet all standard admission and English language requirements to enter the MBA program.
