Apply for your MBA program

Application process

Before completing your application, make sure you read through the following steps.

Check our comprehensive admission requirements to see if you’re eligible to apply for an MBA at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John.


UNB’s online application is easy to use and allows you to upload documents and save your application at any stage.

You’ll need to upload the following additional documents:

  • Transcripts
  • Degrees and diplomas
  • Resume
  • Letters of reference are completed through the portal are to be submitted
  • GMAT test score (if applicable)
  • TOEFL score (if applicable)

Once your payment has been made and your application is complete, it will be sent to the department for review. Applications usually take four to six weeks to process, but may take longer, depending on volume.


Application deadlines

  • Full-time international students: May 15
  • Full-time domestic students: July 15
  • Merit award consideration: April 30
  • Part-time students: Any time

International students must consider the time necessary to obtain an international study permit. We recommend that students applying from Africa apply no later than Feb. 28 to allow for study permit processing time.

A “rolling” admission process is used, meaning that completed applications are reviewed as soon as they are received. We recommend that you submit your application early in order to secure your place in the program.
