Become a Pilates Teacher

REDS Recreation, in partnership with Body Harmonics, is offering a Level 1 Mat Pilates Teacher Training program this fall at UNB.

If you’ve ever considered becoming a Pilates instructor, this program provides the opportunity to combine your interest in movement and wellness with the flexibility to teach in a variety of settings. As a certified Body Harmonics Mat Pilates Teacher, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge to help others build strength, mobility, and balance through movement.

Body Harmonics Education is internationally recognized and combines the original principles of Joseph Pilates with current exercise science, movement education, and teaching best practices. The program is designed to prepare instructors for success in a wide range of fitness and wellness environments.

We welcome students who are passionate about human movement, interested in supporting others in their fitness journeys, and committed to lifelong learning. A background in movement science or professional experience in the fitness industry is considered an asset, but is not required.

  • Discover the roots of the Pilates Method
