Master of Education in Exceptional Learners

Education professionals who are passionate about improving and facilitating the learning experience for exceptional learners are just as passionate about improving the methods and models they use to build knowledge.

Our Master of Education in Exceptional Learners is designed for educational professionals who intend to further advance their knowledge and application of inclusionary methods.

These students will develop an in-depth understanding of evidence-based approaches that enrich the learning environment.

Particular attention is given to educational approaches that emphasize collaboration, consultation, strength-based and universal design methods.


Applicants to the MEd Exceptional Learners are required to have:

  • a Bachelor of Education degree or its equivalent
  • a grade point average of at least 3.0 (B, or its equivalent)
  • at least one year of teaching or related professional experience.


The MEd Exceptional Learners Program has the one application deadline date of Dec 1.
