New Engineering Commons under constructionUNB's new Engineering Commons

For more than 160 years, UNB has delivered excellence and innovation in engineering education. This spring, UNB started construction of the Engineering Commons. This bright, modern face of engineering on our Fredericton campus will provide essential infrastructure to support our focus on growth, sustainability and prosperity through cutting-edge engineering teaching and research.

A new 18,400 square foot space, the Engineering Commons is a three-story mass timber and glass structure expanding the existing lobby of Head Hall and creating new learning and teaching spaces, space for social interaction and increasing our meeting and seminar capacity. The Commons project also includes some renovations in neighbouring spaces in Head Hall.

You can make an investment in the Engineering Commons that will support the next generation of engineers as they address the challenges of the future. Contact us to find out more about how to support this exciting new development.
