Giving to UNB

Integrated Health Initiative

UNB has launched a bold new initiative, located on the Saint John campus, to address the health challenges facing not only New Brunswick but Canada as a whole.

The Integrated Health Initiative marks a unique interdisciplinary approach to health education and research that will lead to solutions for our health care system. Through the bachelor of health degree program; highly focused research clusters working in partnership with Dalhousie Medical Education, Horizon Health and others; and purpose-built state-of-the-art infrastructure, Integrated Health will mobilize knowledge to transform our communities for a better, healthier future.

Step Forward: Health and Social Innovation Centre

Under Integrated Health, research clusters and programs will be housed within the Health and Social Innovation Centre, a 65,000 square foot facility that is optimized for health education through technology-driven teaching and innovation. UNB will be adding name plaques to the main staircase in the shape of a footprint – or a “step” – to acknowledge the steps our generous donors have made to make this building a reality.
