Student Mentoring Club

The Student Mentoring Program pairs UNB Saint John student volunteers with youth from kindergarten to grade 5 at Hazen White-St. Francis School.

From September to April volunteers spend an hour a week at Hazen White-St. Francis. Mentors provide educational support through engaging in structured activities designed to assist in literacy skills.

Sessions run Monday to Friday through fall and winter semesters. Mentoring provides the youth with a positive role model, as well as academic and social support. UNB Saint John volunteers gain hands-on experience and build meaningful connections.
