During the length of your business degree, you are encouraged to seek advice. If you need help with choosing courses, majors, minors or concentrations, to plan your terms and find options to strengthen your degree, an academic advisor can assist you.
As early as the second term of the program, students are invited to identify their learning disposition towards a specific area or areas in business. Knowing your strengths and affinities will help you decide the direction of your degree.
It is recommended to declare a major, double major, minor or concentration in business or in other disciplines in the second half of your program (after completion of 20 term courses). The major builds primarily on elective courses, for that reason in the last two years of the program, students must focus on taking the appropriate electives to complete their major.
All BBA and BAM students are encouraged to email at sjadvising@unb.ca or make an appointment for online academic advising (using MS Teams which is available to all UNB students via myUNB Portal).
