We hope you will have an opportunity to start your journey at UNB Fredericton with our Spring Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) day taking place Saturday, May 28, 2022.
SOAR is one of the best ways to get your university career off to a good start and gain valuable information for your first-year experience. It is also the first step towards your advising and course registration with the Faculty of Science for Fall 2022.
UNB has a full afternoon of programming for parents/supporters. In addition to tours and information stations, there is a faculty welcome and sessions on supporting your student while they are studying at UNB.

Each virtual registration week will provide:
Week One - June 8: Area of Interest: Biology. Register now
Week Two - June 15: Area of Interest: Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biology-Chemistry. Register now
Week Three - June 22: Area of Interest: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Undecided, Entrance Program. Register now
Week Four - June 29: Area of Interest: Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental GeoChemistry, Physics, Psychology. Register now
Week Four - June 29: Concurrent Students: BAS, BA/BSC, BCS/SC. Register now

The Science Peer Mentors will deliver a session during the month of June offering insights into being successful in first year. Get tips on how to prepare for blended learning, what you can expect, how to find your place at UNB, and get answers to all your questions. We encourage you all to participate in this session to start building connections with other first years and your Peer Mentors. They are very excited to assist you along the way.
