Science Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR)

Step 1 | Attend SOAR

We hope you will have an opportunity to start your journey at UNB Fredericton with our Spring Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) day taking place Saturday, May 28, 2022.

SOAR is one of the best ways to get your university career off to a good start and gain valuable information for your first-year experience. It is also the first step towards your advising and course registration with the Faculty of Science for Fall 2022.

Activites for parents and supporters

UNB has a full afternoon of programming for parents/supporters. In addition to tours and information stations, there is a faculty welcome and sessions on supporting your student while they are studying at UNB.

Our faculty session will discuss:

  • The transition from high school to the Faculty of Science
  • University policies
  • Supports and resources
  • Question and answer segment
  • Sign up for Science's parent newsletter

Step 2 | Attend a registration session

Each virtual registration week will provide:

  • A general overview
