Fall Orientation

We are excited to welcome the entire first year class to UNB. You are embarking on an exciting time full of new experiences, opportunities, and challenges. We are thrilled to let you know we are here for you every step of the way and plan to make your UNB experience, especially in Science, one you will never forget.

What does faculty orientation day consist of:

  • Faculty of Science & Campus Tour

       (Classes, Labs, Science Library, all the important places on campus)

  • Let's Take Time to Get To Know U
       (Get to know your Peer Mentors, see old friends and meet some new ones.

  • "The Real Deal on First Year" Q & A with your Peer Mentors

        (Discuss first year, worries, expectations, tips, and get your questions answered)

  • "Success in 60 Minutes" with your First Year Professors
        (Meet your professors, hear their expectations for first year, tips, fall delivery)


Evening Events:

Lots of prizes to win sweatshirts, t-shirts, movie gift cards, amazon gift cards, and more!

Your professors have created  tasks for you to complete to win prizes!

Prefer a virtual event attend our fun trivia night to win prizes and meet other students.

Academic Assistance During The Year

The Assistant Deans of Science are available throughout the year to assist you with any concerns, questions, or guidance you may need during your studies here at UNB. You can attend an advertised advising session, pre-arrange an appointment, or drop-in to the Science Students Services Office. Our office is located in Room S118, in the Science Concourse beside the Science Library. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
