This award recognizes excellence and contributions in teaching. Candidates may be anyone who taught or is teaching at least a one-semester course in the science faculty and received at least two letters of nomination.

Individual students, classes, student associations, faculty members and alumni of UNB can recommend candidates to the Awards Committee of the Faculty of Science.

Acknowledgement and presentation to the recipient occur at this event.

Nominations should be based on personal knowledge of the candidate’s teaching skills and abilities, outline reasons for the nomination and provide evidence for assessment.

Staff Excellence Awards

Nominations can be for one or more members of the support staff  - anyone other than people who hold professor or instructor rank.

Nominations can be made by students, staff and faculty.
