Intramurals at REDS Recreation

Intramural sports are a great way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition. Whether you’re looking for a team sport or a fun tournament, we have options for everyone!

Register and view leagues with Fusion Play

Registration and current intramural sport information can now be accessed through the Fusion Play App:

  • Download the Fusion Play App on your mobile device.
  • Organization code: REDSIM2025
  • UNB students: Log in using your UNB credentials.
  • Non-UNB participants: Create a Reds Recreation account at recreation.unbf.ca or in person at the Currie Center.

Special note for hockey: Hockey participants must purchase a Hockey Membership in person at the Client Services Desk (Currie Center, 1st floor).

Fall sports

  • Men’s soccer
  • Co-ed soccer
  • Ultimate frisbee
  • Flag football
  • Women’s volleyball
  • Basketball (full year)
  • Dodgeball (tournament)
  • Coed volleyball (tournament)
  • Hockey (full year)

Winter sports

  • Co-ed volleyball
  • Men’s volleyball

Costs and eligibility

Eligibility

  • Open to all full-time UNB students.
  • Part-time students must opt into the facility access fee.
  • Community and alumni participants must hold a Reds Recreation membership.

Fees and deposits

  • Non-hockey sports: Two $75 cheques or cash (undated), refundable at the end of the season if the team has not defaulted games or broken rules.
  • Hockey: Two $100 cheques or cash (undated), refundable under the same conditions.
  • Deposits are forfeited if a team defaults games or violates rules.

Rules and expectations

  • Respect teammates, opponents, officials, and facilities.
  • Team names must be respectful and inclusive.
  • Rules and regulations can be found in the Fusion Play App under Resources.

Manager meetings

Team managers must attend pre-season manager meetings. Dates will be posted in the Fusion Play App and emailed to registered managers.
