Large parcels

Large/heavy shipments will be delived to the department between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Outgoing mail

All outgoing mail and courier envelopes must be inserted into an off-campus envelope. Labels are available for oversized envelopes and parcels. Ensure your department and account number are written in the top left hand corner. Oversized envelopes must be sealed. #10 envelopes DO NOT have the flaps overlapping. Due to the new postage machine, the flaps now lay flat on each envelope.

Addressing items

To ensure your item reaches its destination, include the name, company name, street address, city, province, postal code, country and phone number. Couriers cannot deliver to a PO Box in most countries. Contact the Mailroom for exceptions.

All 6” x 9” and larger envelopes must be sealed before sending to the Mailroom.

The contents of shipments going to the US or an International destination must include a content description (example: clothing 100% cotton or pins sterling silver), quantity, declared value and Country of Manufacturer. Electronic items require model and serial number. Documents should also include a brief description (example: acceptance letters, contracts, etc.).
