Kayden was 8 years old when he developed an interest in basketball.  He cultivated his skills by participating on several championship-winning provincial reps teams over the years.  At Simonds High , Kayden's confidence on the court and stellar ball-handling skills as point guard made him a natural team leader and a shoe-in for team captain four years in a row.  He was a three time team MVP and in his final year of high school he received the honour of being named to the NBIAA All-Star Team.

"No matter how bad of a day you're having or what's happening in your life; when you're playing basketball nothing else matters" says Kayden of  his passion for the sport.  He enjoys relieving stress and playing his favorite sport with like-minded friends.

Kayden is looking forward to playing basketball at the ACAA level.  He anticipates that this will be a successful year for the Seawolves that sees the program reemerge stronger and better than ever before.
