"UNB considers living in residence a part of experiencing the overall university experience. Studies show that students who live in Residence perform better academically, are better adjusted socially and are more likely to finish their Degree and graduate." (E.Z. Plantes. The University of New Brunswick in Saint John offers two residence styles (traditional and suite style) which becomes a home for students from Canada and all over the world - the Sir James Dunn and Dr. Colin B. Mackay residences.
Your home, our community
Living in residence is an opportunity to meet friends and Residence Life helps support student success by encouraging growth, educating character and enhancing the university experience. The Residence Community is a short walk from classes, the library, fitness facilities, food services, the bookstore, and much more! Both residences are security-locked and--with only staff and residence students having key card access to the buildings--it is a safe environment for all.
