New Brunswick's finest fitness and event facility is also one of the best in North America. The five-storey, 139,000-square foot facility contains three full-sized gyms, an indoor track, state of the art Human Performance Lab and much more!

With 180 parking spaces, private meeting rooms, and a double-court gymnasium - and the beautiful Long Hall - the CURRIE CENTER is ideal for university events like graduations, the perfect wedding reception, or the next must-see concert. Reach out and we can help you host the ultimate:

The building is air-conditioned and fully accessible from three levels, with a public and service elevator.

Rentals

The public, students and faculty are welcome to rent the facilities. The following spaces are available for rent:

The entire floor area can be carpeted, and the area can be sectioned off for smaller groups or to host simultaneous events.

Two large video screens are available for live feed during your event or to display personal or corporate videos.  The acoustics in the Performance Hall are phenomenal!

Trade shows, job fairs, up to 1,800 people

The AARC contains two full-sized gymnasiums, which can be fully carpeted and divided into smaller areas for break-out sessions or hosting a variety of meetings simultaneously. This space is perfect for trade shows, job fairs, and other large events.

Above the recreational gyms, you will find the Nancy Webster McFadyen Track where members can enjoy a leisurely stroll or jog.

Dinners, receptions; up to 300 people

Long Hall is a stunning promenade with floor to ceiling windows spanning its entire length.  The Hall overlooks an outdoor patio and affords a beautiful view of the landscaped groups.  This space is perfect for sophisticated or casual events, such as dinners, receptions, weddings, or media events.

The Hatheway Family Fitness Studio serves as a multi-purpose room.  It is ideal for yoga, pilates, and dance classes.  Generous windows let in natural light and a beautiful view of the campus and the St. John River create a relaxing environment.

Meetings, media events; up to 40 people

This seminar room is fully-equipped with an overhead projector, screen, sound system and telephone. The room can be arranged to suit your purpose and can comfortably fit about 40 people around the same table. This space is ideal for training seminars, meetings, and presentations.

Meetings, announcements; up to 20 people

The Elizabeth A. Currie Boardroom is one of Fredericton's premier meeting spaces, located on the 5th floor of The Richard J. Currie Center with a panoramic view of the St. John River. This room is perfect for board meetings, facilitation sessions, formal presentations and interviews and fully equipped for video conference calling, high definition video presentations, and WIFI connected. The space includes a large boardroom table with 20 comfortable office chairs, as well as an elegant lounge space.

Group exercise, instructional programs
