In affiliating to the Atlantic Canada Studies Centre at UNB, you become a member of an active network of university and community-based researchers and change-makers working on issues related to the region. We have three categories of affiliates:

University affiliates

University affiliates include full-time or part-time faculty members at post-secondary research institutions. Postdoctoral researchers are also considered university affiliates.

Community affiliates

Community affiliates include community-based researchers not employed by a post-secondary research institution.

Student affiliates

Student affiliates include graduate students currently enrolled full-time or part time at a postsecondary research institution.

If you are interested in applying, fill out the form. Applications are processed regularly by a sub-committee of the Centre’s Advisory Board.

The Atlantic Canada Studies Centre is committed to an ethic of transparency and social justice in both its research initiatives and project management. All project staff, affiliates, collaborators and partners are responsible for upholding this ethic. Actions that place at risk the safety or well-being of any project participants, including (but not limited to) discrimination on the basis of class, race, gender, sexual identity, ability, and religion will thus not be tolerated.
