Mathematics/Statistics-Physics is one of several interdepartmental programs offered at UNB. This program gives students the opportunity to study mathematics, statistics and economics jointly to cover a broad base of topics in both departments, and can be tailored to individual student interests.
The combination of mathematics, statistics and economics is a natural one as students will see practical applications of mathematics and statistics in their economics courses and the rigorous techniques from mathematics will aid students in their problem-solving skills.
