XIX. BBA with a Major in Marketing
In addition to complying with the existing curriculum requirements and regulations governing the award of the BBA degree, BBA students wishing to major in Marketing must also comply with the following regulations and requirements.
a. Students electing to major in Marketing should declare the major by the beginning of their third year. The Faculty of Business must approve all courses taken to comply with the major requirement."
b. In order to earn the major in Marketing, BBA students must:
i.maintain a minimum 3.0 (B) grade point average in the 27 ch of courses (ii, iii, iv), and
iii. earn a minimum grade of C in a minimum of six credit hours of electives chosen from the following: BA 2501, BA 3123, BA 3134, BA 3301, BA 3305, BA 3339, BA 3371, BA2611, BA 3661, BA 4107or BA 4108, BA 4193, BA 4303, BA 4334, BA 4398. Note: Students may count only BA 4107 OR BA 4108 toward the Marketing major, not both.
iv. earn a minimum grade of C in a maximum of six credit hours of electives chosen from the following: PSYC 3412, PSYC 3313, PSYC 3503, PSYC 3493, PSYC 2401, SOCI 2250, SOCI 3214, SOCI 3517, SOCI 4315, PHIL 3153 or other course(s) as approved by the Faculty of Business.
