Richard Cho

Operations management

“The main stream of my research is supply chain management. As competition between companies became tougher and the risk of the vertical integration increased, the coordinated activities among the supply chain participants became more important. My research - designing contracts using theoretical approach and game theory - contributes to affording the win-win strategy for customers and buyers in the supply chain.

The second contribution is in a broad application of the quantitative reasoning. How to use management science (or optimization) or statistical skills in other non-quantitative fields is a basic question here. The applications of my research are IT (Information Technology), education and transportation.”
