4th yr with the Seawolves
Brittany started playing basketball at the age of 7. She continued all the way to the high school level where she had the opportunity to play varsity for 4 years. She also had the chance to compete in the Dairy Town Classic tournament and in grade 12, she received an All-Star Award, was awarded MVP of the year and was captain of the team. Brittany was involved in the Dairy Town Classic Summer Basketball Camp in 2008 and 2009.
"I love the sport! It's a great way to keep in shape and it helps me stay organized with my studies. It's a good way to meet new people and be self-disciplined. I love the feeling of being on a team and being a team player and being able to play at a higher competitive level.
I love playing with a great group of girls because we go through the bad and the good times together." It is quite apparent that Brittany loves basketball and her attitude will no doubt be contagious on the Seawolves.
Brittany is looking forward to a whole new year of basketball and rising to a new level of competition. She believes the team will make it far in playoffs. Her personal goal for the season is to improve her skills in order to become a great asset to the team.
