Rachel Jefferson

Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting)
3rd yr with the Seawolves
Rachel started playing basketball at age 5 and it didn't take long for her to become a presence in the sport as she made the rep teams beginning in grade 4. Rachel had the opportunity to play in the Canada Games and travel to Vancouver for U15 Nationals.
Rachel volunteered on the charity committee while at MUN and also excels at tennis and volleyball. She was the female athlete of the year at KVHS in 2008.
Rachel says that playing basketball "is a great way to meet people, keep in shape, be part of a team. I love everything about basketball and it also keeps me motivated in other aspects of my life."
In her second year with the Seawolves Rachel is looking forward to getting to know the new players and making it past the first round of the playoffs.
