3rd yr with the Seawolves
Emily started playing basketball in grade 6 for Miramichi Hoops Association. She played four years for the Varsity Pulamoo team at Miramichi Valley High School and played provincial basketball in the summers of '08-'09.
"I love the competition and constantly challenging myself and my teammates to do better. I really enjoy the feeling of doing something right and the team benefiting from it. I also like the feeling of being part of a team."
Emily has volunteered as a coach for mini girls basketball and received the RBC Award. She was the captain of both the soccer and basketball teams in high school and was a two-time MVP in each of sport while also being named Female athlete of the year.
In her second season with the Seawolves, she is hoping to further build on her skills, watching the team develop, using team work to reach set goals and winning.
