Jonas has been playing basketball since he was 7 years old after playing a year of soccer. He quickly fell in love with the game, and played several levels, including provincially.
His favourite part of basketball is the split second decisions that you need to make on the court. Jonas loves the pressure and drive that it takes to play the sport. Being part of a team is another aspect of the sport that Jonas enjoys and he says that the popularity of basketball in North America compared to his country is another draw.
Being on exchange, Jonas wants to make the most of his year at UNB Saint John and with the Seawolves. He hopes to gain a lot from the opportunity of being on the basketball team by traveling, spending time with the team and building his skills.
