- UNB researcher Dr. Thierry Chopin is working with government and industry to develop sustainable aquaculture practices that will feed a hungry world and protect the environment.
- UNB is proud to host Parks Canada's first research chair in Aquatic Restoration. Dr. Kurt Samways' work builds on the UNB’s strong focus and significant expertise in marine, coastal and freshwater science and helps students get hands-on experience in conservation biology and species at risk recovery.
