Back to back Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association Atlantic Conference Champions!

The UNB Cougars held a strong record during the regular season which slotted them in second place in the Atlantic Conference of the Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association.

During playoffs, UNB captured the Atlantic Conference Championship for the second straight season and punched their ticket to Montreal for the CCBA National Championship. The team finished the tournament with a 1-2 record, bailing out in the round robin stage after losing to the two teams participating in the eventual championship game.

League information

The UNB Cougars compete in the Canadian University Baseball Association, the largest university baseball association in the country. The Cougars are part of the Atlantic Conference, which includes teams from Acadia, Saint Mary’s, Dalhousie, Crandall and St.FX.

Team information

  • The Cougars typically practice 1-2 times per week.
  • Throughout the season, there are normally two double-headers, which take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • The season runs from September to the end of October.

2019 Spring Training Baseball Camp

Ages 8 - 17 | $100 for all 4 sessions | BMO Indoor Field | Pre-registration required

  • Saturday, Mar. 16 | 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Mar. 30 | 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Apr. 7 | 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Apr. 13 | 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Get ready for the season by learning from elite former D1 Baseball players and current Team NB Baseball coaches. Experienced coaches and players of the UNB Reds Baseball team, three-time Canadian Intercollegiate Baseball Association Champions, will work with youth baseball players to help develop skills and prepare for the season. Campers are encouraged to bring their own water/drinks, bats, helmets, and gloves and should wear all appropriate baseball attire including jock/jill.
