First-year university math can be quite challenging and we want to make sure you're well-prepared. If you're uncertain about your readiness our math preparation workshop is here to help.
This hands-on program focuses on reviewing and practicing the essential concepts and skills required for success in your first-year math courses. The workshop includes instruction from a university instructor and valuable practice time with qualified tutors.
Students taking the pre-calculus workshop who will be living in the UNB residence community for the 2024-2025 academic year will be permitted to move in on Wednesday, August 28 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., provided registration is submitted before Thursday, August 1.
This deadline is FIRM and early residence will not be accommodated if registration is submitted after August 1st .
There is a fee for moving into residence early and for the meal plan. The fee will be added to your regular residence fees and reflected on your UNB financial record.
The residence meal plan consists of breakfast, lunch and supper on all three days of the workshop. Day sessions include a 1 hour break for both lunch and supper.
Students wishing to withdraw must email mlc@unb.ca. A refund of the workshop fee (less $50 admission fee) will be made if requested prior to August 6, 2024. After that date, no refund is possible.
Participant substitutions may be made at any point prior to the start date of the workshop.
August 1: Deadline for registration and payment for early residence/meal plan participation.
August 14: Deadline for registration and payment for non-residence participation.
Registration will not be processed until full payment is received. Full payment is required after you submit your application. An email notification will be sent confirming receipt of your application and payment within 24 hours of submitting your payment.
