Penny Pacey has been working professionally in community event and activity planning in the Fredericton region for over twenty years in a variety of organizations such as the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Gallery 78, the Charlotte Street Art Centre, The Fredericton Region Museum, the Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick, Ste Anne's Court and Shannex Parkland. Her passion is to enhance community connections.

To that end, she has volunteered her services for the Fredericton Arts Alliance, Friends of Odell, the Age Friendly Committee of Fredericton, the Third Age Centre, the Provincial Senior Round Table, the Fredericton Police Force Senior Advisory Committee, the Senior Wellness Action Group for Greater Fredericton Social Innovation, the Southside Dementia Support Group, the Rewirement Alliance and others. In 2019, she founded and coordinated a free service pairing different generations for mutual benefit and support entitled "Adopt a Grandparent /Elder" (AGE).

She is the chair of a conference on Ageism planned for October 1, 2021, International Older Person's Day. She is the proud but humble recipient of two consecutive Woman of Influence Awards bestowed by Lieutenant Governor. Jocelyne Roy-Vienneau. She has been a longtime admirer of RC and its ideology and is delighted, by the opportunity to contribute to its success.
