With more than 29 years of experience in a policing environment as a civilian, Mireille Allain brings vast knowledge and experience to the University of New Brunswick. Her varied career includes NB Crime Stoppers, Operational Communication Centre operator (911), Human Resources (Recruiting and Staffing) as well as the Informal Conflict Management Practitioner for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. She has extensive experience in the fields of Alternate Dispute Resolution, Human Resources, Coaching and Planning & Organizing.

In addition to being trained in Emotional Intelligence profiling and being an Insights Discovery facilitator, Mireille successfully completed the Executive Coaching Certificate with Royal Roads University. She is an accredited Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. In addition to a Human Resource Certificate obtained at UNB, she also acquired a Third Party Neutral Certificate with CICR (Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution). Mireille holds a Chartered Mediator designation (C.Med) through the Alternate Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC). She has a passion for informal conflict resolution and has trained hundreds of individuals in collaborative communication skills. She has a private consulting company that focusses on team building and conflict resolution called "M.A.Mission Ltd”.
