COVID-19 Update

March 13, 2020

Dear UNB Community,

The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff is our top priority. In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and the risk of our community to unnecessary exposure we are implementing the following changes on UNB campuses and sites:

  • All UNB in-person classes will be suspended for the remainder of the academic year effective as of tomorrow, March 14, at 8 a.m.
  • Starting Monday, March 23, classes will resume using alternative methods to support delivery outside of the classroom. Specific support will be offered to faculty members to help in this transition.
  • UNB’s campuses will remain open, including residences.
  • We are working to ensure students will be able to finish their term on time, adhering to the current exam schedule.

We understand that this is a difficult and confusing time for all. It is important for us to come together as a community and demonstrate patience and understanding. This is an extraordinary situation and we will need to work together to navigate the next few days, weeks and months.

More detailed information will be available here for students, faculty and staff as the situation evolves.
