MATH3103Analysis I3 ch (3C)

Analysis is the branch of mathematics that deals with approximation, convergence, and change. The first half of a two-term introduction to the foundations of analysis that concludes with MATH 3113. It covers the axiomatic characterization of the real numbers, metric spaces, sequences and numerical series, limits and continuity of functions. NOTE: The MATH 2203 prerequisite may be replaced by a grade of B or higher in CS 1303.

Prerequisites: MATH 1013 or MATH 1063MATH 2203 and MATH 2213 or MATH 1503; or permission of the instructor.
