The department of psychology has a strong research orientation. Currently, faculty members are conducting studies in the following areas:

  • Psychopharmacology
  • Interpersonal relations and well-being
  • Animal learning
  • Perception and graphical perception
  • Lie detection
  • Developmental psychology
  • Addictions

SONA research participation

UNB Saint John

SONA is an online tool that allows students and researchers to participate in research being conducted at the University of New Brunswick.

Students who are interested in research participation can use SONA to sign up for different studies, track their participation, and assign credit to specific classes.

Login to SONA

Your username will be your UNB email address (user@unb.ca). When you log into the system for the first time, you will be able to change your password.

If you have not logged into the system before, you will receive an email with your login information. If you do not receive an email, contact Derek.Gaudet@unb.ca, the Saint John SONA administrator.
