The SharePoint search service is back on-line, and the search index has been rebuilt. Search is now completely functional on the on-premises sites.

Update: June 11th, 4pm

The SharePoint search service is back on-line, but the search index is being rebuilt. We anticipate that by tomorrow morning, the search indexing should be complete, and search will be completely functional on the on-premises sites.

Update: June 10, 1:35pm

Our team is still working on the SharePoint search functionality. We do not have an ETA as to when the search outage will be resolved yet.

The maintenance on SharePoint search has been taking longer than anticipated. Our team continues to work on the issue, and we will update the UNB community with our progress.

Original Details:

On Thursday, June 6 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (four hours), the search feature in UNB SharePoint will be unavailable while ITS performs emergency maintenance. 

This outage impacts searching in SharePoint only; you will still be able to access SharePoint sites and files during this time.
