Original Details:

Between Monday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 9, as part of UNB’s wireless (Wi-Fi) replacement project, ITS will be replacing the wireless network equipment in the following buildings on the Fredericton campus:

• Harriet Irving Library (HIL)
• Student Union Building (SUB)
• Maggie Jean Chestnut

As the ITS team replaces the network equipment in each location, Wi-Fi will be intermittently unavailable.

Once a building has been upgraded, the myUNB WiFi network will no longer be available in that location and you will need to connect to UNB’s new Wi-Fi, eduroam. 

To get connected:

• Select the eduroam network.
• Enter your:
  • UNB login ID + @unb.ca (ex: jdoe@unb.ca)
  • UNB password
• Connect and trust the network.
