Courses for the certificate in nursing leadership and management are designed with professionals like you in mind. Our certificate fosters an interactive learning environment to ensure you leave the program with fully developed leadership skills that are intended to be applied in a healthcare environment.
To receive the certificate, you must complete all five of the following courses:
- Communication in the health care environment
- Change leadership in the healthcare environment
- Introduction to human resources in health care
- Quality management in health care
- Introduction to financial stewardship in the non-profit sector
After completing the program requirements, you will leave the certificate program with the skills needed to address common issues in the workplace, such as:

- monitoring
- supporting employee performance
Courses for this program can be taken on a part time basis, which allows students to complete the certificate in two years. If necessary, students may take up to five years to complete the program.
