VE9UNB in 2023 CQ WPX SSB

The Robert J. Collier VE9UNB Memorial Station will participate in the CQ WPX SSB amateur radio contest, March 24-26, 2023.

• What is an amateur radio contest? It is a leisure activity, as in radiosport. This excellent YouTube(TM) video is an example of a contest, titled VE9UNB in the November 2016 ARRL SSB Sweepstakes (amateur radio contest), by Florence, @themaritimegirl, with Sam.
• You and a friend may try the 2023 contest for an hour, or more. You may also sign up alone to meet another student. In the past, a few people have told me one hour was not enough and they would have preferred two.
• To sign up,

  • brent.petersen@unb.ca is used to email me, Dr. Petersen, with
    
    • your preferred times,
    • your first name and
    • the first name of the second person, if any;
  • I will write the first names in that spreadsheet. That spreadsheet is readable only by people at UNB.
