Led by Executive Director, Dr. Dhirendra Shukla, the UNB Network for Entrepreneurship and Innovation serves as a strategic connector and amplifier for UNB’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. The Network ensures students, faculty, and community innovators can seamlessly tap into the programs, mentors, funding and partnerships they need to succeed.
UNB hosts one of Canada’s strongest entrepreneurship ecosystems, offering academic programs, accelerators and supports that help students, researchers and entrepreneurs launch and grow ventures. Through undergraduate and graduate pathways, hands‑on diplomas and specialized programs, UNB prepares innovators at every stage.
Its entrepreneurial hubs—including the International Business & Entrepreneurship Centre, the J Herbert Smith Centre, the Pond‑Deshpande Centre and the Wallace McCain Institute—provide mentorship, funding, incubation and real‑world experience, complemented by competitive opportunities such as the Fraser Student Venture Fund, prototype development support and pitch competitions.

Junior Achievement New Brunswick is coming to UNBF to talk about their Company Program, an 18-week after school program for high school students to learn valuable financial and entrepreneurial skills by starting and operating their very own business.
Learn how you can assist, encourage and guide high school students through opening, running and liquidating an actual business.

During this session, Brian will share how his career evolved and the lessons learned along the way, what a sales leadership role actually looks like, and how students can prepare for a future workforce shaped by AI advancements, changing business models, and evolving employer expectations.
