Curriculum Context

Course purpose:

•To apply concepts of community health nursing

•To develop an understanding of the historical context of Indigenous peoples in Canada,settler society relations

.•To develop an understanding of the concepts of global health



Course Description

Applies a population health focus in community settings with diverse population.



Qualifications

an RN in good standing with NANB. Must be willing to provide criminal record check and updated CPR, as well as adhere to any vaccination requirements the partner organization may have. Community nursing experience an asset.
