Curriculum Context

This course is an introduction to sport psychology and covers topics such as the history of sport psychology, violence, sport and behaviour, social physique anxiety, ethics, winning, etc.



Course Description

Provides an introduction into the psychological influence of sport, physical activity, and leisure on the individual. Current social psychological theory about sport, physical activity and leisure behaviour will be examined through a wide variety of sport, leisure, and exercise psychology topics. 



Qualifications

Master's degree in Kinesiology or a combination of education and experience.

Priority will be given to those holding a Right-of-First-Refusal on this course.

This position is subject to final budgetary approval and subject to minimum enrolment.
