“Capital and equipment make it possible, people make it happen.” In order for this statement to become a reality, the performance of the people in question must be optimized. This course is designed to bring together the knowledge gained in human behaviour with the theories and practical application of performance management. There are six primary objectives of this course.

2. Build a clear understanding of the complexity of performance management,
3. Explore the issues surrounding the organization’s ability to optimize human performance,
4. Examine the tools and processes available to build an effective performance management system,
5. Further hone your critical thinking, communication and group work skills, and
6. Develop and practice skills in assessment of one’s own and others’ performance, based on established criteria.
The minimum requirement for consideration is a Master's degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the topic area.
