Curriculum Context

BIOL 3261 is an upper level course recommended for Cell and Molecular Biology Concentration, Environmental Biology Concentration, and/or Human Biology Concentration stream.



Course Description

Principles of prokaryotic, cell biology, including cell structures and their function, metabolism and growth, and regulation of cellular processes. Topics include the response of bacteria to environmental factors, bacterial-host interactions, and molecular and genomic tools to study microbiology.



Qualifications

MSc and PhD in Biology or allied field, or equivalent experience. Experience teaching undergraduate lectures an asset.
