Curriculum Context

This is the second half of an introductory calculus course for undergraduates, science, engineering, and related disciplines. 



Course Description

Definition of the integral, fundamental theorem of Calculus, Techniques of integration, improper integrals. Ordinary differential equations. Taylor polynomials and series. NOTE: Credit may be obtained for only one of MATH 1013 or MATH 1063. Note: Neither MATH 1823 nor MATH 1843 fully prepares students for MATH 1013; consult the Department of Mathematics and Statistics for advice.

Requisites: Take MATH*1003 or MATH*1053



Qualifications

At least a M.Sc. degree in mathematics or a related discipline, with successful teaching experience at the university level preferred.
