This course provides an overview of environmental law in Canada, with a focus on its application in forestry, conservation, and resource management. Students will explore federal and provincial regulations, Indigenous legal perspectives, case law, and international agreements. The course aims to equip students with practical knowledge of environmental policies, regulatory compliance, and legal frameworks affecting forestry and environmental management.
