Curriculum Context

BA4216 is a business elective course, required for the Accounting major.



Course Description

This course includes detailed coverage of Segmented reporting, Interim reporting, and Foreign Transactions and Hedges, Supplemental reporting through MD&A. Also includes Financial Reporting for Foreign Operations, Non-Profit Entities, Public Sector, and Partnerships. Additional relevant topics may be added as needed.



Qualifications

The minimum requirement for consideration is a Master's degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the topic area or an undergraduate degree combined with a professional certification in an appropriate field. Previous experience teaching in a university environment is considered an asset.
