Curriculum Context

Online Undergraduate Bachelor of Education degree in Early Childhood Education course. 

Course content is accessible on D2L, instructors have content available on a weekly basis and interact with students’ posts, reading responses, and assignments. Instructors may have optional online office hours.



Course Description

Students will develop an understanding of how and why visual images are a powerful form of communication and creative expression. Through individual media exploration and interactive activities students will increase their visual awareness, creative thinking and art making skills. Learning how to develop meaningful creative art education programs will also be explored. 



Qualifications

Graduate degree in Education and preferred university level teaching experience. Knowledge of and experience in online teaching would be an asset. An understanding and experience teaching this subject in the early years is required.
