The High School to Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing Program (HS to BNAP) at the Moncton site provides high school students with a pathway into the UNB Bachelor of Nursing Accelerated Program.
Admitted student will take 46 university credits over three terms (fall, winter, summer) in-person fall and winter at the Fredericton campus and online through UNB's Centre for Learning Futures.
Designed to fast-track your nursing career, the HS to BNAP program includes comprehensive coursework and practical training. Begin your journey at the Fredericton campus for fall and winters terms. Summer term is online through the Centre for Learning Futures, then transition to Moncton to begin BNAP.
Includes five courses in leadership studies through the School of Leadership Studies (15 credit hours), the five prerequisite courses are required to enter the BNAP (16 credit hours), plus 15 credit hours of university electives of the student’s choice.
Students will complete the BNAP in Moncton conditional upon meeting the admission standards for the program. Students who successfully complete all of the leadership courses will be granted the UNB Certificate in Leadership Studies.
A minimum grade of 70% on each of the following grade 12 high school courses (or equivalent) with an overall average of 75% on the four:
Grade 11 Math Functions and Relations (or Pre-calculus 110 or Foundations of Math 120).
In addition to the academic requirements, applicants to UNB’s Nursing programs are required to complete CASPer testing.
As the language of instruction is English, applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following methods:
