MBA in Sport and Recreation Management

Turn your passion for sports and recreation into a fulfilling career with Canada's only MBA in Sports and Recreation Management at the University of New Brunswick.

In this program you will combine courses from the Faculty of Management’s MBA program and from the Faculty of Kinesiology, giving you a unique education that fills an important gap in the sports and recreation industry.

In year one of the program, you will develop a “business tool kit” by taking business courses in

This tool kit builds leadership skills you can use in any industry, but in year two of the program, you will learn how to use them in the sports and recreation industry by taking kinesiology courses in

  • Trends and Issues in Sport and Recreation
  • Sport Marketing
  • Careers and People Management in Sport and Recreation

In your final semester, you can network with professionals and gain real-world industry experience through an internship. Our students have interned with such organizations as
