David is a hard-working and motivating leader with extensive experience in strategic management, global affairs, financial analysis, and organizational planning. He is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s University and in 2017 completed the Diploma of University Teaching at UNB.

As a UNB Saint John MBA Graduate School Teaching Associate and an Instructor in the Bachelor of Business Administration program, David has instructed courses in International Business, Government, and Society (MBA 7102); Business Opportunity Analysis (MBA 7302); and Competitive Strategy (BA 4101). He is also a certified yoga teacher.

David has previous executive leadership experience as the Director of Planning and Development at Champion Petfoods. As an executive team member at Champion, David helped advance the organizations vision, mission, and values by leading strategic and organizational planning. He has also held previous senior positions as the Manager of Strategic Information at Superior Propane and Western Canada Finance Manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises. David’s financial acumen and fact-based decision making helps organizations focus and achieve their strategic goals.

Originally from New Brunswick, David has strong ties to the province and after finding success in Alberta he has recently moved home. During David’s spare time, you can find him hiking, golfing in Westfield, or practicing/teaching yoga.
